The Glacial Drumlin State Trail in Wisconsin runs from Waukesha (in the Milwaukee area) to Cottage Grove (near Madison) for some 50+ miles. Connecting with other trails, it’s possible to travel between Milwaukee and Madison. A state trail pass is required for biking and in-line skating. Late April morning…nice time for stroll in downtown Milwaukee. Went to the Milwaukee Public Market to sample some foods and then went for a walk along the Riverwalk.

Took a vacation day and ventured up to Door County before summer visitors take over. It was a late May Friday and I still felt like I had a lot of the county to myself.
