Had the day off of work so I ventured up to Door County, Wisconsin. Early October, a weekday, so not crowded at all. Felt like I had the outdoors to myself! I visited The Ridges Sanctuary, the first land trust in Wisconsin–and also ventured over to Cave Point County Park to do some hiking.
Took a vacation day and ventured up to Door County before summer visitors take over. It was a late May Friday and I still felt like I had a lot of the county to myself. Brrr! It was a cold sunset at Cana Island Light in Door County, Wisconsin. A stiff breeze was coming in off of Lake Michigan, but it was so worth it. Beautiful!
