Seattle: Kerry Park

Our last morning in Seattle. Later in the day we board the cruise ship to Alaska!

After having a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we decided to walk to Kerry Park–known for its panoramic views of the Seattle skyline.

From our hotel at 5th & Roy in Seattle, it was about 20 minute walk (0.8 miles) to Kerry Park. One thing I didn’t realize about Seattle were the hills! Our legs have gotten good workouts in Seattle.

Kerry Park offers wonderful skyline views of the Space Needle, downtown skyscrapers, Elliott Bay, and Mount Rainier. The walk through the Queen Anne Hill neighborhood is lovely and has a mix of older, well-kept homes and newer construction too.

So if you want that “picture postcard” view of Seattle with the Space Needle in the background, then Kerry Park is a good place to go!
