Seattle: Space Needle – Night & Day

With our Seattle CityPass we were entitled to both a day and night admission to the venerable Space Needle. Since we started sightseeing in the late afternoon, we decided to go up to the top of the Space Needle at night, first.
It was beautiful…great views of all of the twinkly lights of the city. Another bonus: it wasn’t that crowded when we went.
Then the next morning, we returned for our daytime admission. Great skyline views! It was a clear day, so we were treated to stunning views of Mount Rainier. Be sure to give yourself time to view the historical exhibits on the Space Needle–the information about the planning and construction in relation to the 1962 World’s Fair was fascinating.
Below are some more photos from the Space Needle. For the full set, check out my Flickr album.
