After spending the morning and part of the afternoon at The Newseum, we set out to see the monuments. We took the Metro to the L’Enfant Plaza station where we managed to get horribly turned around. The Newseum in Washington DC – dedicated to exhibits on the news media (print and digital) and the First Amendment – has been one of my more favorite recent museum experiences. The leaves are just starting to change here in Wisconsin. Fall has been lovely: a lot of warm days and cool nights.
