New York City: Times Square – Day & Night

Oh, Times Square…tacky and overrated. But you’re in New York, so you have to do it.
By the way, don’t go to Times Square (or all of NYC for that matter) and eat at a chain restaurant that you can visit at home. Seriously, you should have seen all the people packed in to the Times Square Olive Garden. But I digress!
Actually, Times Square isn’t that bad if you can get a seat on those ruby red stairs, right above the TKTS booth. There you can people watch and stare out into that sea of humanity.
We waited in line at the TKTS booth–but not too long. TKTS offers discounts to Broadway shows. We snatched up a pair of tickets to see Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike–a great show and we got to meet Sigourney Weaver, starring in the play!
