September Saturday in Door County, Wisconsin

After Labor Day, the crowds in Door County, Wisconsin (aka the “Cape Cod of the Midwest”) begin to thin out. It’s a great time to visit. Door County is one of my favorite places: hundreds of miles of shoreline, great parks, and lots of things to do!
We headed first to one of my favorite outdoor places, Cave Point County Park, on the lakeside. After that it was to the village of Ephraim on the bayside, the Hardy Gallery, and lunch at Wilson’s Restaurant. We wrapped up the day with a hike on the Eagle Trail at Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek. A perfect day!
