Travel on the Side

Ventured over to High Cliff State Park, near Appleton, Wisconsin. Located on the shores of Lake Winnebago, the largest lake within the state, the park sits on the Niagara Escarpment. Lots of hiking opportunities abound here. The beach is OK, but no sand–it’s made of crushed shells. Plus, it often gets closed due to high contamination levels. So yeah…better just stick to hiking!
