End of Summer: New Hampshire Seacoast

Summer is coming to a close with the Labor Day weekend approaching. We opted to spend Friday along the New Hampshire seacoast – at 18 miles, it’s the shortest in the country.

First, we drove to Hampton Beach for a little swimming and sun tanning. It’s a busy beach town filled with tourists. A little crowded, but still relaxing.

After that, we drove north on New Hampshire Route 1A which hugs the Atlantic coastline. We pulled over in Rye for a few photos. Then it was on to Portsmouth to wrap up the day.
